                     The perfect Spring workshop . . . 

    Saturday April 23rd and Sunday April 24th, 10 am until 4.30pm, both days

In this two day workshop Gaye  will demonstrate her plein air approach  within the comfort of the studio.  She will talk about the pitfalls and the payoffs encountered while painting in the field, describe the basics for gearing up for your first plein air experience, and demonstrate a sound approach for painting outdoors.



Students will paint from photo references using an alla prima (direct painting, all in one sitting) approach in oils, learning how to get down the essential  color, value and shape relationships within the first half hour of painting following Gaye’s approach to working in the field.

Painting outdoors is challenging but deeply rewarding.  It is a huge skill builder, and a great adventure. Let Gaye help you to shorten the learning curve so you can get out there are start your love affair with painting outdoors.

Payment may be made by mailing a cheque to the address below, payable to Dene Croft, by e-transfer, or credit card and cash payment in person. $250 incl. taxes, both days.
