From Photo to Fine Art

 Liberate those beautiful photos stored away on your computer, cell phone or in a dusty box! Discover how to transform inkjet, digital and commercially processed photos into lush, hand-painted acrylic, watercolour and pastel artworks. You will learn fine art techniques to print, colour, distress, and alter photos, so they possess the magical qualities of both photograph and fine art.  Explore a variety of methods to transfer and print inkjet images to papers, metal, glass and fabric.

 All supplies are provided by the instructor for an additional $40 + GST supplies fee. Students who prefer to use their own images are welcome to bring any photographs (up to 8 x10) of any type, colour or printing method.

the cost for this two day workshop is $220 plus a $40 supply fee. A more comprehensive description of the course will be provided upon registration.
