The Four Colour Landscape in Acrylics
with Janice Robertson
Course Outline
This workshop will explore the possibilities of working on a painting with a limited number of colours. This is an excellent way to learn about colour mixing- to understand about primary, secondary and neutral colours and to know why muddy colour sometimes occurs.
Through instructor demos, a number of techniques will be presented, including blocking in, brushwork, glazing, and positive and negative painting. Reference photos will be available or participants can work from their own images.
Day one will start with a group critique of work from home- maximum of 2 pieces per person. Any medium or subject matter is ok for the critique.
$280 including taxes for the weekend
